There were once 2 brothers who lived on the 80th level. On coming home one day, they realized to their dismay that the lifts were not working and that they have to climb the stairs home.

After struggling to the 20th level, panting and tired, they decided to abandon their bags and come back for them the next day. They left their bags then and climbed on. When they have struggled to the 40th level, the younger brother started to grumble and both of them began to quarrel. They continued to climb the flights of steps, quarreling all the way to the 60th floor.

They then realized that they have only 20 levels more to climb and decided to stop quarreling and continue climbing in peace. They silently climbed on and reached their home at long last. Each stood calmly before the door and waited for the other to open the door.

And they realized that the key was in their bags which was left on the 20th floor

This story is reflecting on our life...many of us live under the expectations of our parents, teachers and friends when young. We seldom get to do the things that we really like and love and are under so much pressure and stress so that by the age of 20, we get tired and decided to dump this load.

Being free of the stress and pressure, we work enthusiastically and dream ambitious wishes.

But by the time we reach 40 years old, we start to lose our vision and dreams. We began to feel unsatisfied and start to complain and criticize. We live life as a misery as we are never satisfied. Reaching 60, we realize that we have little left for complaining anymore, and we began to walk the final episode in peace and calmness.

We think that there is nothing left to disappoint us, only to realize that we could not rest in peace because we have an unfulfilled dream ...... a dream we abandoned 60 years ago.

So what is your dream? Follow your dreams so that you will not live with regrets.

Swimming, Yay!

Sunday Sundae Sun Day

Happy Mothers Day again to all the mothers. I bought a cake especially for my mom today. I really wanted to surprise her to show her that I remember mothers day and I do love her. Aww.... Hehe... Since my dad wasn't around when I got the cake I decided to wait for him. To cut story short, yes I did surprise my mom with the cake while she was doing her work. Hehe... Such a priceless moment. I love you mom! A chocolate cake is nothing compared to your unconditional and selfless love and care...

On another note, tonight I went to JP again... When was the last time I went to JP? Last night! Hehe... with different people though. Last night with Jimmy, Tyna & Zul. This time with my classmates, them Physeds, to celebrate the beginning of our 3 months break! Well some of us, including myself still have another paper to do, Recreational Maths on the 14th but its an elective so yea... There were only about 12 of us tonight. We had fun even though JP needs a maintenance really bad! The best part was of course the bumper car. Its nothing usually but this time we get to play it for friggin 40 minutes straight cos no one else was queuing up. But seriously, 40 minutes of bumper car driving does has its effect. Picture time...

40 minutes of this was just so fun =)

And they all live happily ever after. Haha... Look at that =D

A man stopped at a flower shop for ordering some flowers to be sent as a gift to his mother who lived two hundred miles away.

Blind Date... Lol!

I'm on a 5 minutes break from my psychology revision... Was reading a joke to relax myself for a bit and just wanna share it cos I thought it was really funny =)

Joe took his blind date to the carnival. "What would you like to do first, Kim?" asked Joe. "I want to get weighed," she said. They ambled over to the weight guesser. He guessed 120 pounds. She got on the scale; it read 117 and she won a prize.

Next the couple went on the Ferris wheel. When the ride was over, Joe again asked Kim what she would like to do. "I want to get weighed," she said.

Back to the weight guesser they went. Since they had been there before, he guessed her correct weight, and Joe lost his dollar.

The couple walked around the carnival and again he asked where to next. "I want to get weighed," she responded. By this time, Joe figured she was really weird and took her home early, dropping her off with a handshake.

Her roommate, Laura, asked her about the blind date, "How'd it go?"

Kim responded, "Oh, Waura, it was wousy."

Hahaha!! Sorry when you don't get it. Maybe you're too young to understand. Haha... joking. Ok, where was I? Ahh... back to psychology revision =)

They're finally here....!

I just had my first paper this morning. 1 down, a few more to go...! Another paper tomorrow and yet I'm blogging =)

A little bit closer to the holidays! Whee....~

Anyway, I had such a great weekend with my mentors and Serene (my mentor's daughter). I just met her last friday and she was in town til last sunday. They're Malaysians but living in Melbourne... cool people =) I'll blog about it and post pictures once I break free from my exams. Til then, cheers!

A Joke I Suppose =)

Once upon a time in a place overrun with monkeys, a man appeared and announced to the villagers that he would buy monkeys for $10 each. The villagers, seeing that there were many monkeys around, went out to the forest, and started catching them.

The man bought thousands at $10 and as supply started to diminish, they became harder to catch, so the villagers stopped their effort.

The man then announced that he would now pay $20 for each one. This renewed the efforts of the villagers and they started catching monkeys again. But soon the supply diminished even further and they were ever harder to catch, so people started going back to their farms and forgot about monkey catching.

The man increased his price to $25 each and the supply of monkeys became so sparse that it was an effort to even see a monkey, much less catch one.

The man now announced that he would buy monkeys for $50! However, since he had to go to the city on some business, his assistant would now buy on his behalf.

While the man was away the assistant told the villagers. 'Look at all these monkeys in the big cage that the man has bought. I will sell them to you at $35 each and when the man returns from the city, you can sell them to him for $50 each.'

The villagers rounded up all their savings and bought all the monkeys. They never saw the man nor his assistant again and once again there were monkeys everywhere.

Now you know how the stock market works.

Lol... I'm a currency trader so this is pretty funny to me. But then again, I might be the only one laughing. Hehe... Oh well, cheers!

Yes, exam is just around corner...!! One week away to be exact and today is the start of the revision break so, no more classes but it's time to flip the pages! On another note, I've picked up my Threadless tees two days ago and they're just awesome, they fit well too =) You can check out Threadless tees on their website here.

Anyway, yesterday was the UBD Jogathon. I didn't get to take any pictures though cos I left my camera. To cut story short, it was tiring of course but it wasn't that bad and the weather was just nice =) I got no.32 overall for the female student category. Hehe.. not that it matters or anything =D Ok, I should stop blogging now. Time to feed the brain especially for Learning & Development 1. That's the toughest of all my subject this semester. Hi people... I was so caught up watching Susan Boyle's video over and over again til i forgot to update on the UBD.fm photo shoot I had yesterday. I was actually gonna blog about it after blogging the post titled I Dreamed A Dream but I forgot =)

Anyway, I can only show some of the pictures. I can't leak the real photos until they are printed on posters or at least the next UBD orientation which I think will be in August. I'm very much tempted to post the real photos but I can only show the behind-the-scene photos. So here goes... Btw, the theme for yesterday's shoot was Editorial. We didn't have time to do Black & White and Sports theme. Oh well, maybe next time...

Last night (well, this morning actually) at around 2am, Adi texted me all the way from UK telling me to watch Susan Boyle's I Dreamed A Dream on YouTube. I've heard about Susan Boyle but haven't really got the chance to watch her video so I did just now. Gosh... The word I'm going to use to describe this video is extraordinary! Ugh... Still Sick

I've been having a cold for the past two days and my voice are usually gone in the evening. I haven't been out much as well except for going to my classes. Today I was supposed to have badminton class in the morning but I skipped it cos I woke up late =) Well, I'm just bored out of my mind right now....

There's this game on facebook that I've been hooked on recently called Restaurant City. I'm not addicted to it but it does kill boredom. Well, I've been in bed for almost the whole day today just resting and playing that game. The only time I go out of my room today is to feed myself and to watch The Biggest Loser finale just now. Somehow the restaurant city game that I was playing had to undergo a maintenance so I can't play it now... Again, being so bored, I would do whatever now to kill this boredom. Its sunday already? That quick huh? That means another 2 weeks to final exam! Man I better get started on my revision... That one particular subject, Psychology is not giving me a chance to procastinate this time. Hmph!

Anyway, I had a mini reunion with the ex-MS people that are in Brunei plus Awie who's here for the holidays but he'll be back to UK tomorrow. Have a safe trip..! We had pastas, lots of em... and pizzas. Guess where? None other than Capers =) Pictures below...

...with Apple! Haha... Yes, I'm very much into Apple products now. Ever since I got my new macbook about a month ago, I just cant keep my hands off of it. I'm attached...! Just in case you don't know which one I'm talking about, I put a picture of it below.

I love it's black keyboard and I love how sophisticated it looks. It's just awesome! Oh, and not forgetting the 4hours plus battery life. Its a huge transition from my previous laptop but getting used to the apple functions aren't that difficult. Next on my list is....

...the iphone 3G.

But before I can get my hands on that iphone, I've set a goal for myself and that iphone will be the reward. Hehe... I need a new phone anyway. I've been using my current phone for about 3 years now so its time to update =)

Last night, I went to Qlap to meet up with my mentors and also to greet sir OR personally on his birthday which is today, 17th April 2009. We had an advance surprise for him already few days back.

UBD.fm Update

Another tiring day... Got a text last night informing us to come for a meeting at ETC regarding UBD.fm so, yea... attended that meeting after my classes. Hmm... Since I haven't updated much in the last couple of months, I probably lost you somewhere there. Ok, I went to audition for the new UBD.fm sometime last month. It was spontaneous really. I only intended to audition for radio crew but right before the interview, I changed my mind to audition as a DJ. Hehe... Well, enough said... I got picked with 14 others who auditioned. So that was what the meeting was about.

There were 24 students who auditioned and they chose 15 of us to be part of the UBD.fm radio crew (and DJs). During the audition, there were 4 stages we had to go through. First was the interview with two MPPs. Then, the audition.

Let me describe the scene of the audition... There was a chair (the one with the table connected) for us in the middle of a stage (more like a platform really) with a mic. In front was the judges' table and there were 6 of them. There was a cameraman recording the audition and a TV that shows your face close up while you audition so, as you auditioned you can also see yourself on the TV. I was auditioned by DJ Sean of Pilihan FM. We were given a script with points on what to say and I was told to do the sports section. Overall, the audition went fine even though it was a little bit intimidating.

The next stage, was to record our voice with DJ Ayu of Kristal. We were given another script. This time, they played the jingle first (Pilihan FM jingle for English medium DJ and Kristal FM jingle for Malay medium DJ) then just read the whole script. It goes something like "Hi you're tuning in to Pilihan FM 95.9 and 96.9FM and you're back with me DJ Nad. That was Lady Gaga with Just Dance. So listeners out there give me a call at.... " The script goes for about 2 minutes.

The last stage is the photo shoot with Mirez. He told us to do wacky poses or whatever as long as its not formal. Below is the final product of the shoot.

Anyway, coming back to the meeting I had this afternoon, the MPPs gave us feedbacks and comments made by the judges (a total of six of them and five of which are real radio DJs) during our audition and let us listen to our recordings. Well, mine was "You've got the voice to be a radio DJ but you're a bit slow at times cos you tend to think and talk at the same time. Also, you have the personality but you're a bit tense." Haha... Then, we had a little ice breaking with the MPPs as well as the other selected radio crews. Some of them actually had the experience already as a DJ while some of us, myself is no exception, have zero experience. They might conduct a training for us during this holidays. Oh, and next week will be the photo shoot. The themes proposed were Editorial, Sporty and Black & White. Will post the photos when I got them next week...

While the status for UBD.fm is still tentative, the MPPs (especially Khalil, Lini & Shafiee) are working hard to make it a reality. Of course, being picked as crews of the UBD.fm now, its also our job to help out and get UBD.fm up and running.

Orange Coloured Surprise

Last night I had a private gathering session with Iceman and four other traders. During our break, we had a special surprise planned for our dear mentor/sensei somewhere in Qlap. We had to wear either black or white to resemble 'candles'. Sensei was brought upstairs for a fake business presentation while all of us gathered and lined up downstairs. He totally didn't see it coming cos his birthday is actually on the 17th but we just had to celebrate it earlier due to other circumstances.

Revamped!

Feels good to be back! It's been six long months after my last update here. So, here I am again... The blog has got its new makeover now and I personally like this new layout. The good news is that all my presentations are done so that's why I've got a little extra time to be blogging but the bad news is that my final exams are coming up very soon so don't expect much update from me by then. I must say that I'm really looking forward to summer holidays. Ahh... can't wait!

I've got quite a few stuff to post about but I'll do it slowly, post by post. I'm not gonna cram everything in a post. Hmm... the only problem is, I don't really know which one to post first. Hehe.. So, this is the end of my first post since the last update (looooooong ago!).

Went to Polo Club around 1pm yesterday with Ka Wana to check the place out for the upcoming ORI Raya Gathering. The place was pretty nice and the price is just right so I think we'll be using that place for the function. Ka Wana was really impressed with the place that she ended up booking a table there for sungkai yesterday =) Then from Polo, we went to Mall cos we wanted to go to the salon and no surprise, all of the three salons at the mall were full so I didn't get my haircut but Ka Wana did get something done to her hair... Well, I finally bought my heels for raya.. =)

Anyway, Nis left for UK yesterday.. Went to the airport at 5ish. Now that all of them are in UK, its gonna be pretty 'sunyi' around here... Hope you guys will enjoy life there...

From airport, I rushed to Polo Club for sungkai. I arrived exactly at 6.15pm and sungkai is exactly on that time... =) The food was just okay in my opinion... For $20, not bad.

Totally lost track of the time until Diman texted me reminding me of the discussion I've planned. So, I went back home to get my things for PoT discussion then picked up Diman and Mun and we head over to Red Canopy, Kiulap. I just couldn't focus there.. Besides, it was not my productive time. My productive time is around subuh... =) So, guess what we ended up doing...

Ok, so last weekend, I taught myself how to solve the friggin Rubiks Cube... I kept going back to the video I learn from... and there were times when I messed up and was just cursing at the cube.. and at times I did this...

...disassembling it and putting it back together so that it is automatically solved!

Hehe... Ok, I cheated but...  yesterday, 20th September 2008, I finally solve the Rubiks cube for the first time ever...! And might I add, without referring to the video and I did not cheat, thank you. Haha... So, I was really sakai... since last night, I solved the cube more than 5 times... I lost count actually... eseh... =) Bah, thats all.. Aku saja kan show off... Haha!

Went to airport twice yesterday.. The first one in the morning. I was sending my cousin off to Egypt via Singapore to continue her studies for a year. Oh, and I found out Khal was going to UK on that same flight but unfortunately I didn't get to meet her =(

Membali badil tah pulang dorang ah... Haha.. Boys tah banar.. =)

Anyway, a certain someone had another craving for soto... =) So, we went out for sungkai at soto bunut. Thats why I had to rush at the airport.. I wasn't driving so I was picked up at the airport and that was like 10 minutes before sungkai..! Yes, I know... We were still in the car when beduk was on but nearing the restaurant. But we did get the soto and ate there... Nyaman... Inda lagi kana layan tu when we arrived there cos they were busy breaking their fast. Hehe... No photo taken.. Lapar sudah =) Anyway, thank you for the soto.

12am: I was still in Bunut til around 2. I had an early birthday surprise. Thank you guys..!

8am:  My mom greeted me. Thank you...

8.30am: Went to UBD early for a discussion followed by a presentation and a class. I was so not looking forward to that... and even worse, someone just had to ruin my day!

12pm: Went home... got nothing planned. Was just resting... til 6ish.

2pm: Checking birthday wishes on facebook...I know..

6pm: Aberdeen emailed me and wished me happy birthday.. Oh, they remember... Haha!!

6.30pm: Sungkai with family. More birthday greetings. Thanks.

7pm: Bored. So I texted Ka Wana and Adi.

 9pm: Went to Yappy. Met up with Adi, Hj Aman, Ka Wana and the rest there. Stayed there til 12ish... 17th September finally over.

After Yappy, we went to Seri Mama in Bandar for nasi katok =) and had a long chat with the CA99s.

Ok, so thats what happened on my birthday. I love how my birthday started and ended but the in betweens were just okay... Thank you to everyone who greeted me, a special thank you to the people who were there on my birthday and a super special thank you goes out to my mom and dad =)

Birthday Surprise

Last night, the group had a surprise for Elle and myself for our birthday but apparently they surprised us a bit too early.. It was only 11.30pm but nevertheless, I really appreciate it. I must say I didn't see it coming that early cos I was 'expecting' it at 12am.

We had a meeting with Ka Wana before we were surprised... So, our minds were off from other things but the meeting... at least my mind was =)

Okay, it really is not as easy as I thought. Assignments and group projects are piling up and deadline is coming very soon. Oh, and apparently all the assignments and group projects are to be handed in on the same week..! Yeah, I know... So, this is what I've been doing... endless discussions...

The lesson plan on Rhy's awesome macbook... Hehe... We went next door to mynest after easyway cos they close so friggin early. Went back home at 12ish... one of us just couldn't continue anymore... Haha!

This morning the ICT group, including myself went to a nearby primary school as part of our task. Basically, we had to interview another PE teacher and ask her alot of questions... which we did =D

Went for sungkai at TT Blues with Ka Wana and Elle. My first sungkai out for the month of Ramadhan this year... it was really a spontaneous thing.

Ka Wana, "Nad, I'm going out sungkai di TT Blues since nada orang di rumah. Wanna join?"
Me, "Ok, sure..."

The whole buffet cost $8.88 per person. The food... it was alright but it wasn't my kind of food though. I didn't take any picture.... Lapar sudah, iatah.. =)

Oh, I went to Jame Asr' with Elle for terawih... =) We were so sakai cos the mosque is big and we didn't know where to go and apparently masjidnya ani high tech... =D Haha...! Anyway, after terawih, went to Yappy first for my dinner... Hehe... Then sugar and spice, til it was really late... like 3am late...! Siuk... I love food =D

I know shisha is not allowed in cafes and restaurants anymore but sensei with his ways managed to get himself one in sugar and spice... oh, an opportunity spotted... i join as well lah =)

Before I start, I would like to post something like what they have in this blog called  youparkingidiot.blogspot.com.. Why? Cos this car was blocking my big ass van during lunch time! Unfortunately, I didn't take any shot before I got my car out. This person left me just a small space to get the car out. Fortunately, I have my friend along as the traffic dude. I was pissed off and left the person a note on the windshield...

Anyway, I just realised that I haven't posted any pictures showing any of my classes in UBD so here goes... One of my classes... Yes, my class is a gym =) and these were taken during our short break.

I didn't have any class from morning but we were invited to go to Chancellor Hall to attend the meet and greet session with the new VC. Well, I came late but I found this in Chancellor Hall... It was the heart day something organised by the Institute of Medicine.

Anyway, since its wednesday, its eca time. I finally registered myself to join the bowling club this semester... Yea, I know. Why bowling? I dont know... Went to Ashley's place last night right after I got back from Lumut... We had a little gathering and some karaoke-ing. Hehe... Ada orang addicted to karaoke sudah iatah ia mau lagi atu. I came late so I went to eat first. Thanks to Mirez and his lady friend for cooking us indomee =)  and yea, I was the only girl there after they both left... and again, he left too early! Haha..!

Sudah kanyang, main candles! Haha! We decorated Ashley's place with Zul's old candles. This is just one angle, there were more!

This time, we didn't really sang that much cos we were too busy lighting up the candles and taking a lot of shots. Btw, my flash didn't work that night so I didn't take much shots. I was using Afif's and Ashley's camera most of the time.

After all the candles had melted... Its karaoke time! Haha!

My Course So Far

Okay, since I'm doing physical education, I would have expect a lot of physical activities that I'll be doing. Yesterday we had a mini orientation for first year students doing physical education. We were divided into four groups namely 'Aman', 'Bahagia', 'Ceria' and lastly, the group I'm in, 'Dinamik'. The activities were fun and we even had tug of war. My team won... twice! And we also won overall! Woohoo! Too bad I didn't bring my camera so, sorry folks... no picture.

Today, we learned.. guess what? How to blow the whistle! It was funny...really. Did you know that drill in malay is called 'asas tubi'? Hehe... yeah, we learned that as well as 'ansur maju' =) We played volleyball a little and most of us really never played volleyball ever before and that includes myself. Ok, I really had no idea how you play it so we just did it our way... This is how my hand looks like after a couple 'hard slap like' effect on my hand.

Little red dots emerged on my hand all of a sudden! I never seen those on me ever before so I was like.. "Oh shit! What the heck are those??!" saying it with a paranoid + surprised + trying to get people's attention look and tone of voice. Hmm... Thank goodness it's basketball next week.

Damn it! I'm suppose to be in KL this weekend but since I'm still trying to make good impression on my lecturers, I can't skip class yet. At least not until I learn the behaviour or character of my lecturers =) Oh well, I'll just go in November. That I can't miss for sure!

Its my first day in UBD today... I finally met all the people I'm gonna be seeing for the next three years today! Hehe... We didn't have any class today but we met some of the lecturers to sort out our time table for this semester. We were wandering around SHBIE, exploring the unexplored territories of UBD. Finally, the last day of orientation. I was pretty excited because we were finally grouped into our respective faculties and into smaller groups of different courses. We had an online course registration after that and again it was inefficient but I was lucky enough to skip the super long queue and finish everything early so I had an extra hour of sleep in between before the next briefing at 2.30pm.

It's A Holiday!

To all the Muslims, selamat menyambut isra' mikraj.. Hope you guys enjoy your break. I went to gym today with Ka Wana. We went to Zunic at Batu 1. I went for a walk in session which costs $8... Hmm...the gym is kinda nice compared to the IBB gym in Bandar but they have a private swimming pool which I like. Zunic is pretty simple. Everything is located at one floor. The gym, rooms for classes, office, changing rooms... all on one floor. They have a lot of machines there so you don't have to fight with some fit wannabe person... I like the changing room too... They have sauna in the changing room.

I tried this machine...I don't know what it's called but it might be called a strider. Tried it for 10 minutes and when I got down, I swear I almost fainted. I couldn't see clearly and it was kind of dark, the sound was getting softer and I felt really weird. I was about to throw up as well but then Ka Wana told me to rest so I did. I don't know what happened cos I never felt like that before... not even when I'm really tired. Anyway, I was fine after I got my rest and then continued making my $8 worth... Hehe... Oh, on the way to the car guess what I saw? The new Nissan GT-R... One of the most talked about car in Brunei at the moment. I'm not much of a car enthusiast but that car really got me talking. Sweet...~

Orientation Day 1

Woke up really early today cos I've a got an orientation to attend. As of now, I'm officially a UBD-an. Gosh, the traffic was really bad around UBD this morning...

Its funny how we're at someplace new but we still stick around with all of us ex-MS-ian. We should be talking and getting to know those new people. Theres nothing wrong with sticking with your old friends but we're not gonna be in one faculty after orientation is over. Hmm...that sucks. Anyway, I already got myself into some trouble on the first day of orientation. Imagine what it'll be like for the whole three years I'm gonna be there. I didn't do anything wrong but there was some misunderstanding between me and the people in charge of registration. I was so fucking pissed off! It wasn't my fault anyways... I'm glad tomorrow is a holiday. I wouldn't call it an orientation anyway, it's pure briefing... I mean pure boredom.

Grooming Workshop =)

Today I had a 'Basic Grooming Workshop' at Centrepoint. I came slightly late so I don't know the first presenter's name or anything about her except for her age and that she's from Malaysia =)

The first presenter was talking about basic skin care... Identifying your skin type and what kind of cleansing set you should use depending on the skin type and some make up skills.

The second session was more fun cos she interacted with us more. Thats Evelyn Ch'ng in white with the bob hair cut. She's a certified image consultant from KL. More information about her and her company can be found at www.emagestyle.com. In this session, we get to identify our face shape and what kind of haircut suits us. Then, we identified our skin tone whether its warm or cool using some shimmery cloth which she had prepared and we also learn how to smile the right way... Hehe... It was fun but I was stuck with two older ladies who I don't know of cos Ka Wana and the other two sat in front of me cos the seating arrangement was in rows threes. But overall it is kinda useful and a pretty good one indeed. Worth the money..

Trading Class

This weekend I've got two classes booked in my schedule. The first one is the trading class which I had last night at Rizqun and the other one is the NDO which I had this afternoon... Anyway, I got a parking pass to park at the reserved area in front of the hotel! Haha... sakai.. I know... I came extra early cos I wanted to sit at the front row. Its called NDO. I haven't started my lectures yet. Soon... Anyway, it was at IPA and the BDAC people at the same time were at the beach in Tutong for some reunion. I'm sorry I couldn't make it but the NDO was worth the price as well... =)

Went to excapade for sushi today with Ka Wana and Mirul... Ka Wana is treating me to three meals as a reward for something I did and this is the second one. So, I still have to decide where to eat for the third one. Hmm..I cant remember the last time I had a good sushi meal before this one..

The seaweed nyaman but I couldn't finish it cos I was too full.. Anyway, after our meal since none of us had anything to do after that, we went to Qlap mall cos ka wana needed to do some shopping to satisfy herself. Mirul and I just talked while we waited and we kinda tried on all the shades there... Hehe... I want another aviator eh... cos I broke mine.

Girls Night Out

I had a little catching up session with the girls today. We went to Fratinis for our little gathering. There were six of us.. Khal, Nis, Syee, Qil, Yazmyn and myself. The food was awesome as always! Hehe...

Hmm...basically thats just about it... It was fun though.. We should do it again soon =)

Such a tiring day today. Woke up early today and helped out my friend in her school. She was having a little 'jamuan' for her students and the staff cos its her birthday today 24th July. At 11am, went to school to pick up the softball girls and played softball at stadium til 12.30pm. Hehe... the coach was funny... Kami pacah olehnya. He said 'butt up' when he actually meant 'bat up' cos he's filipino and thats just how he pronouned it. It was my turn to bat and he kept on saying to 'butt up' ..'butt up'.. and I was thinking like how do i do that. So, I started to shake my butt a bit and move my butt position higher then ms.ani and the girls started bursting out laughing and then i realised he was actually asking me to raised my bat higher. Haha... pacah! Couldn't stop laughing... Wish I had that recorded!

Anyway, Syee called and woke me up from my nap at 4pm. Syee and Agee came to my place and she proposed a project to be done in the near future and would like me to be a part of the project. It was a pretty good idea. Then I found out that my friend was hospitalised. I was like "What? on her birthday??" So I came to visit... and gosh she had those monitor by her bed and oxygen mask and her face was swollen. She had an allergic reaction to her transfusion. It was sad to see her like that but I'm glad shes fine.

Then I met my other friends at au lait. We had an in depth discussion on Syee's workshop project.

Interrupted by Zul the 'pegawai tarik kalat' with a classic walkie talkie in his vest's pocket.

So, we discussed about the workshop and its confirmed to be held on 4th August at Sekolah Menengah Berakas. Oh, 4th August...I'll be starting UBD by then..

Movie Night

It's movie night.. My friends and I were actually planning to watch 'Wanted' but unfortunately its no longer showing in cinemas. So, we picked 'Journey To The Centre of The Earth' instead starring Brendan Frasier. Here's the trailer...

The movie was supposed to be in 3D and I really think that it would be way better when we actually watched it in 3D but unfortunately we can't have that 3D movie experience yet in Brunei. The storyline overall was okay... I like the kind of movies where I learn new stuff from it and the actions was pretty good but there were some scenes that I didn't really like. It was also kind of predictable for some of the scenes. There was not much originality there. Basically old ideas gathered and twisted into a plot. It was fictional to my knowledge and the effects without the 3D experience made it just an okay movie to watch.

I'm all smiles today... I had such a great day that I can't wait to blog about it.. Where do I start? Oh yea, I went to the hospital to take care of my aunt and I told myself before I got there that I was gonna get a good parking at most in 3 minutes and well, I got a really good parking in just a minute.. Then, when I got to see my aunt I found out that she was going to be transferred to the same ward as Ka Wana's. So, it was cool... Anyway, I was really excited for tonight cos my mentor booked the whole cinema for the group for the premier of 'Hancock' at Qlap. Farah and I had fun kidnapping Ka Wana from the ward just to bring her to see the movie. We had our ways but yea we got ourselves to QLap. The area was really busy so parking was a little difficult but we got a good parking anyway. Then, as I was about to go in, I met up with an old friend of mine and a former teacher of mine. I had a good chat with them and the best thing is that she invited me to come and join the school's cca softball group... just for fun. Ok, so movie started at 9.30pm and the cinema was filled but the movie was awesome! Oh, Adi also came for the movie even though he came really late but it's good to see him after such a long time. Then, after movie ends, Farah and I had to rush back to hospital to send Ka Wana back. Back at the ward, I had a good long chat about everything with my mentor and finally at about 2am I was a bit tired so I went home. On the way home just now, I couldn't help but just smile along the way, thinking how great my day is today and I just feel so happy... Ok, happily signing off now =)

Haha... I found this strip when I was randomly surfing online. I think its really funny and it really does speak for itself. People just blog about anything nowadays ya know and not that I'm against people who blog just to have a blog or anything cos I myself before this blog have quite a few that I either stopped updating or well, honestly I'm not much of a blogger anyway...
